Provided herein is a combination folding gift box-sheet wrap combination that includes measured, pre-scored, indicia-bearing wrapping dimensionally corresponding to the companion gift box where the sheet wrap permits repeatable and consistent wrapping and even when including non-repeating design element.

A gift wrap dispensing system includes a roll of gift wrapping that is retained within an enclosable carton. The roll of gift wrapping is in the range of approximately 10-16 inches in length and includes a rigid cardboard tube on which a supply of wrapping paper is wound. The wrapping paper includes a decorative film, such as a holographic or metallized film, that is bonded onto a coated paper substrate using a layer of bonding material. The carton is preferably constructed from a unitary cardboard blank and includes a bottom panel, a front panel, a rear panel and a pair of side panels which together define a longitudinal cavity which is sized and shaped to receive the roll of gift wrapping. The carton additionally includes a lid that is pivotally coupled to the rear panel and that is designed to be pivoted between an open position and a closed position. In order to dispense a supply of wrapping paper, the lid of the carton is pivoted at least partially open. A user-defined section of the wrapping paper is extracted from the carton and is severed from the remainder of the roll of gift wrapping using an externally-accessible serrated cutting edge that is mounted on the carton. With the section of wrapping paper dispensed, the lid is pivoted closed to protect the remainder of the roll of gift wrapping pending further use.

A gift wrapping system, for use in wrapping a gift, contained within gift packaging having a top and bottom, using a wrapping device having a main part and a closure plate having a central opening. The main part is made of a highly stretchable material formed into a tube having an open end and a closed end. The gift packaging is inserted into the main part through the open end, and the gift is pushed downwardly toward the closed end as the open end is pulled upwardly. Once the bottom of the gift packaging is against the closed end and the open end is pulled above the top of the gift packaging, the open end above the top is grabbed as a tail, which is pulled upwardly through the central opening of the closure plate as the closure plate is pushed downwardly against the top of the gift packaging.

A gift wrapping enclosure encloses a gift which has been inserted within an interior of a main body formed of flexible material. An end portion of the main body surrounding an open end is folded back to form a cuff. An interior surface is exposed at the cuff, and the exposed cuff surface has a different color, texture or material characteristic from the main body. A Naïve-Bayes-type method may be used to infer the giftability of products for which such data is not available.
