The invention belongs to the technical field of power circuit breakers, and particularly relates to an
airflow partition type arc extinguishing mechanism of a power
circuit breaker. The
airflow partition type arc extinguishing mechanism comprises a cylinder, a push rod, an oscillating bar, an arc guide vane, an
electric power fixed end, a toothed bar, a
piston, a fixed shaft, an oscillating plate, a fixed plate and a gas outlet groove, wherein when arc is generated by the oscillating bar and the
electric power fixed end, the arc arrives to the upper end of the oscillating plate; after the oscillating bar drives the oscillating plate to oscillate at an appointed position, a gap is maintained with the lower end of the fixed plate; the oscillating bar drives air compressed by the
piston to enter into a main ventilation passage and a side ventilation
pipe, and gas in the main ventilation passage flows to generate negative pressure at the position of the gap, so that air between the oscillating plate and the
concave surface of the fixed plate flows into the main passage; gas in the side ventilation
pipe flows upwards from the gas outlet groove through an
airflow cavity, the arc is divided into three sections, and the divided arc sections enter into the main passage along with the flowing of air, so that the energy accumulation of the arc is reduced until the arc is extinguished. The arc is blocked by using airflow, and the arc is guided through the airflow, so that a preferable arc-extinguishing effect can be achieved.
