China Mobile Multimedia Broadcasting (CMMB) is a mobile television and multimedia standard developed and specified in China by the State Administration of Radio, Film, and Television (SARFT). It is based on the Satellite and Terrestrial Interactive Multiservice Infrastructure (STiMi), developed by TiMiTech, a company formed by the Chinese Academy of Broadcasting Science. Announced in October 2006, it has been described as being similar to Europe's DVB-SH standard for digital video broadcast from both satellites and terrestrial repeaters to handheld devices.

The invention discloses a method for notifying programs among China Mobile Multimedia Broadcasting (CMMB) terminals. The method comprises the following steps that: a CMMB terminal adds a channel identification that a user wants to share with other users to the content of a short message, and sends the short message to the other users specified by the user. The invention also discloses a system for notifying the programs among the CMMB terminals, which comprises a sending end, a receiving end and a short message center, wherein the sending end is used for adding the channel identification that the user wants to share with the receiving end to the content of the short message, and sending the short message to the short message center, wherein the short message carries number information of the receiving end; the short message center is used for forwarding the received short message to the receiving end; and the receiving end is used for receiving the short message carrying the channel identification. Compared with the prior art, the method and the system for notifying the programs among the CMMB terminals can notify the programs among the users conveniently and timely to realize program share; and program information is filled in and sent automatically in a background so as to simplify user operation and ensure accuracy.
