A high-performance, scalable and drop-free data center switch fabric and infrastructure is described. The data center switch fabric may leverage low cost, off-the-shelf packet-based switching components (e.g., IP over Ethernet (IPoE)) and overlay forwarding technologies rather than proprietary switch fabric. In one example, host network accelerators (HNAs) are positioned between servers (e.g., virtual machines or dedicated servers) of the data center and an IPoE core network that provides point-to-point connectivity between the servers. The HNAs are hardware devices that embed virtual routers on one or more integrated circuits, where the virtual router are configured to extend the one or more virtual networks to the virtual machines and to seamlessly transport packets over the switch fabric using an overlay network. In other words, the HNAs provide hardware-based, seamless access interfaces to overlay technologies used for communicating packet flows through the core switching network of the data center.

Multi-service authentication method and system based on ipoe

The invention relates to a multi-service authentication method based on IPoE. The method comprises the following steps: an access server receives a DHCP Discovery message initiated by a terminal, and the DHCP Discovery message comprises serial number information and service domain information of the terminal; the access server parses and generates an authentication account number; the access server sends the authentication account number and access line information to a certificate server together; based on the authentication account number and the access line information, the certificate server inquires a user database of the certificate server and carries out authentication on the terminal. The invention also relates to a multi-service authentication system based on IPoE. According to the method and the system of the invention, a DHCP Discovery broadcast request is utilized to carry out DHCP authentication, the terminal serial number and service domain information which form the authentication account number not only can only determine a terminal, but also can distinguish different service types, and a service load of one line to a plurality of services is realized; through the authentication account number and the access line information, service authentication is carried out, inputting a username and a password in present authentication technology is not needed, and convenient authentication is realized.

The invention discloses an IPTV (Internet Protocol Television) service authentication method, an IPTV service authentication system and access equipment, and relates to the technical field of IPTV. The IPTV service authentication method comprises the following steps that: access equipment acquires a dynamic host configuration protocol (DHCP) discovery message which is initiated by a terminal and carries an encrypted access account number and an access password, wherein the access account number is a network protocol IPoE account number borne by the Ethernet; the access equipment initiates an authentication request to a remote authentication dial in user service (RADIUS) according to the DHCP discovery message and the access information of the access equipment, so that the RADIUS decrypts and authenticates the encrypted access account and access password; under the condition that the authentication is passed, the access equipment obtains a decrypted access account and access password returned by the RADIUS and information of an IPoE domain allocated to the user; and the access equipment allocates an IPoE domain and an address to the terminal according to the content returned by the RADIUS so as to form a user session on the access equipment. Therefore, the network architecture is simplified, and session-level access based on IPoE is realized.
