This invention belongs to the field of biopesticide technology, specifically to a biopesticide for controlling the new pineapple mealybug. The application of *Bacillus tuvani* in the preparation of a biopesticide for controlling the new pineapple mealybug is described. The *Bacillus tuvani* was purchased from the Guangdong Provincial Microbial Culture Collection Center, number GDMCC NO.800089. The *Bacillus tuvani* bacterial solution of this invention exhibits insecticidal activity against the new pineapple mealybug, demonstrating the potential for preparing a biopesticide for its control. Furthermore, when the *Bacillus tuvani* bacterial solution is used in combination with the existing biopesticide spinosad, it has a synergistic effect in killing the new pineapple mealybug, further improving the control effect and providing support for the preparation of a biopesticide for controlling the new pineapple mealybug.
