Abstract

Chitosan is first dissolved in acid solution and made to produce grafting polymerization with non-ionic monomer, cationic monomer and non-ionic surfactant under the action of initiator at 30-75 deg.c for 2-6 hr; and the reaction product is then added with alkali to regulate the pH value to 3.5-5.5, so as to obtain the chitosan-grafting ternary copolymer flocculant.
