Topical anhydrous sunscreen compositions that comprise glycereth-26 and avobenzone and / or glycerteh-26. In addition to boosting SPF and UVA-PF values, glycereth-26 provides excellent aesthetics, sensory profiles and spreading ability, and is particularly suitable for use in anhydrous systems. Compositions of the invention may be in the form of oil / oil, oil / silicone, or silicone / oil emulsions, as well as multi-phase anhydrous systems, such as oil / silicone / oil.

Use of avobenzone in the manufacture of a formulation for reducing the amount of atg14 protein in a cell

PendingCN122342740ALipoylationPharmaceutical drug
The application discloses application of avobenzone in preparation of a preparation for reducing ATG14 protein content in cells; specifically, the avobenzone can directly combine with the ATG14 protein, and promote the ATG14 to degrade the ATG14 through a ubiquitin-proteasome pathway (such as CUL3 mediation), so as to destroy the PI3KC3-C1 complex stability, inhibit the autophagosome formation and reduce the autophagy flux. Further, the avobenzone can show a decrease in LC3-II lipidation level, a blocked p62 degradation and a damaged Beclin1-VPS34 complex assembly. The application discloses, for the first time, a new application of the avobenzone as an autophagy inhibitor targeting the ATG14, and provides a new technical scheme for ATG14-related autophagy mechanism research and drug screening.
