The invention discloses a method for preparing a multi-core electroluminescent wire. The multi-core electroluminescent wire comprises a plurality of metal core wire electrodes, luminous insulating layers, a luminous layer, a metal oxide transparent conductive layer, external conductive layer electrodes and a color fluorescent transparent plastic layer. The method is characterized in that the luminous insulating layers are uniformly coated on the surfaces of all metal core wire electrodes with the same diameter or different diameters; the metal core wire electrodes are spirally arranged regularly and twisted into a whole; the luminous layer is coated on the surface of the integrated metal core wire electrodes at one time; the metal oxide transparent conductive layer is coated outside the luminous layer; the metal oxide transparent conductive layer is contacted with the external conductive layer electrodes which are arranged linearly, and sealed by the color fluorescent transparent plastic layer; and a multi-channel special driver is connected to the metal core wire electrodes and the external conductive layer electrodes, consists of a high-frequency transformer, an inductor, a capacitor and a flash chip, outputs 130V alternating current (AC) voltage and 1,000Hz frequency, and controls energization to emit regular strong and weak light and dynamic, color and high-brightness light. The method can be widely applied to the fields of luminous clothes, advertisements, safety marks, household appliances and luminous electric wires.
