A receptacle assembly for use in connecting an energy source to an energy delivering device is described herein. The receptacle assembly includes a face plate defining an aperture. The receptacle also includes an adapter assembly including an adapter plate, supporting a terminal that is operatively connected to the energy source. Additionally, the receptacle includes a spacer member interposed between an inner surface of the aperture of the face plate and an outer surface of the adapter plate, wherein the spacer member permits omni-directional movement of the adapter plate and terminal relative to the face plate.

A charger having an adjustable connector accommodates a plurality of electronic devices having different form factors. The present invention is a pawl latch which is adapted to be mounted to a first member, such as a closure panel of drawer face plate for releasably retaining the closure panel against an enclosure. Such drawer is suitable for implementing an electronic module which plugs into the backplane of the enclosure. The latch has spring-assisted engagement and disengagement of its pawl with the edge of an enclosure opening against which the pawl operates. This results in spring-assisted inject and eject functions for connecting and disconnecting any associate backplane connection. A coupling for connecting fuel pipes in an aircraft is provided. At least one of the fuel pipes is capable of movement with respect to the coupling. The coupling comprises a pipe end fitting and a socket arrangement. The pipe end fitting is located within the socket arrangement. At least one resiliently flexible electrical contact is located between the pipe end fitting and the socket arrangement. The coupling may thus form a flexible coupling electrically connecting two pipes to prevent static electricity build-up whilst permitting movement between the pipes.

Electronic controls may be provided directly on the cable winding device. The cable winding device generally includes two cable segments physically disconnected from each other, a spool configured for winding the cable segments thereon, and a circuit component such as a printed circuit board assembly that rotates with the spool. The circuit component may include electrical contacts to electronically connect corresponding pairs of wires of the cable segments and a user-adjustable or user-actuatable electronic control in communication with the electrical contacts. The circuit component may provide a pair of electrical contacts for each corresponding pair of wires in the cable segments and the electronic control is in communication with at least one pair of the electrical contacts. The cable segments form a continuous electrical path through a circuit component with electronic controls.
