The invention relates to a breeding method for improving honey yield of
apis cerana. The breeding method utilizes beehives to
breed two queen bees in a bee colony, realizes the purpose of strong colony
honey production through the propagation of the two queen bees, and mainly comprises the steps of hive separating, queen
cell breeding, putting of the queen bees into the bee colony,
overwintering management and
brood comb exchanging. By the adoption of the breeding method, two swarms with different colony odors can be effectively prevented from killing each other in the hive to reduce repulsionof the swarms, and when the swarms in the hive are crowded, a
honeycomb frame is added in the hive, a
brood comb and a honey comb are placed in the
honeycomb frame, therefore the enthusiasm of comb making,
insect breeding and collecting of worker bees is facilitated, swarming is not liable to generate, the
apis cerana can reproduce quickly, especially when the
pollen-shedding
nectar-secreting period of
nectar and
pollen plants comes, field bees of the right age are multiple,
nectar collection is facilitated, the honey yield is increased, double harvest of honey and
pollen can be obtained, andcomprehensive
economic benefits of the
apis cerana can be improved.
