A system for percutaneously introducing a prosthetic valve into a patient's vasculature comprises a balloon dilatation catheter, a prosthetic valve mounted coaxial to the dilatation balloon, and a pusher member comprising a longitudinally extending tubular member encompassing the shaft of the catheter. The distal end of the pusher member preferably corresponds to the proximal end of the stent component of the prosthetic valve. The pusher member provides enhanced longitudinal pushability for facilitating advancement of the prosthetic valve to a treatment site. The system is well-suited for advancing a prosthetic valve or other medical device through an introducer sheath having a relatively small inner diameter. The introducer sheath may be formed with a tapered proximal end portion for receiving the prosthetic valve and for reducing a diameter of the prosthetic valve during advancement therethrough.

A tissue removal apparatus having a cutting element mounted to a handpiece. The cutting element includes an outer cannula defining a tissue-receiving opening and an inner cannula concentrically disposed within the outer cannula. The outer cannula has a trocar tip at its distal end and a cutting board snugly disposed within the outer cannula. The inner cannula defines an inner lumen that extends the length of the inner cannula, and which provides an avenue for aspiration. An endoluminal prosthesis includes a tubular graft, an expandable annular support structure and a restraining mechanism restraining the prosthesis in a collapsed configuration in which the annular support structure is compressed to a low profile. The restraining mechanism holds the annular support structures in the collapsed configuration until the prosthesis is positioned for deployment. The restraining mechanism is then released to allow the annular support structures to expand into conforming engagement with the inner wall of a lumen in which the prosthesis is to be deployed. A feature according to the invention provides a balloon catheter onto which the prosthesis is loaded for deployment where the balloon is expanded to provide a radial force to release the restraining mechanism. Another feature provides for a restraining member that breaks upon application of the radial force to release the annular support structure from its constrained configuration. Another feature of the invention provides for independent and/or sequential release of the annular support members. Various types of annular support members attached to tubular grafts in a variety of manners may be used in accordance with the invention. The invention may be used in tubular grafts for endoluminal placement within a body lumen, including blood vessels, and for the treatment of abdominal and other aneurysms.

Carrying systems, connecting systems and methods. The system connects a power tool and a component. In some constructions and in some aspects, the power tool includes a housing and a U-shaped receptacle defined by the housing. In some constructions and in some aspects, the component includes a stud selectively engageable with the receptacle to connect the power tool and the component. A locking mechanism is positioned within the receptacle and includes a cam. The locking mechanism is engageable with the stud to restrict movement of the stud with respect to the receptacle. The stud includes a recess at an end of the stud. The cam is selectively engageable with the recess to retain the stud within the receptacle. The cam is movable between a lock position and a released position. In the locked position, the cam extends into the recess and engages the stud. In the released position, the cam is retracted from the recess and is disengaged with the stud.

A spring nut adapter for use in connection with a U-shaped channel. The channel has a base plate, two side plates and channel grooves on upper portions of the side plates. The channel grooves are bounded by channel groove walls. The spring nut adapter includes a face plate with an attachment orifice extending therethrough, and a compression spring with a first end and a second end. An ambidextrous receiver and bolt operating assembly for use in combination with a standard bolt for a Ruger® 10/22® rim-fire firearm action. A receiver housing is configured to function with the original Ruger® 10/22® firearm bolt and has an ejection port which is smaller than the ejection port of the original Ruger® 10/22® receiver and which does not include a bolt handle reciprocation opening. The receiver housing also includes a longitudinally extending upper guide channel and an opening at an aft end of said channel. A bolt closure mechanism is adapted to bias the original Ruger® 10/22® firearm bolt into battery and to be received in a seat of the original firearm bolt. The engagement member does not include a laterally extending bolt operating handle. An ambidextrous charging handle is positioned in the channel and has a forward portion including a hook portion adapted to retract the original firearm bolt during rearward movement of said handle. The handle has a T-shaped aft portion extending out of said opening in said receiver housing.

A combat vehicle restraint system accommodates a wide range of soldiers, both with and without battle, arctic, or chemical gear. The restraint system includes lengthened belts and an adjustable buckle position. The belts include loops for locating and grasping the belts, and separate lap and shoulder belts with small narrowing ends to prevent catching on gear. The belts are extendable from Inertial reels which are calibrated for off-road operation. The buckle engages each belt separately and includes a single action release. The buckle position is easily adjusted using an oversized knob so that a soldier may easily find and adjust buckle length in the dark, wearing heavy gloves, or with muddy slippery fingers. The latch/unlatch mechanism and associated hardware is an open frame type to reduce or eliminate affects of mud, dust, water or other contaminants on operation.

A snow removal machine of this invention has a blower provided in a blower housing for throwing up snow collected by an auger toward a chute. The blower has a plurality of supporting members provided on a drive shaft for rotating the auger and the blower and a plurality of throwing-up blades attached to the respective supporting members. The throwing-up blades are elastically deformable. A vacant space is formed between the supporting members and the throwing-up blades. A stylet is provided having a taper section that gradually increases in diameter from the distal end thereby eliminating the difference in diameters between the tubular structure and the endotracheal tube and for facilitating entry of the new endotracheal tube into the trachea of the patient.

The stop pins are rotatable in order to absorb the kinetic energy of the container blanks as they are fed to the apparatus and eliminate blank bounce. In a further aspect of the invention there is provided a method of forming plates utilizing the improved apparatus including the inertial blank stop pins.
