The complex material consists of ring metal ligands, a metal center and phenanthroline ligands. The structural general formula of the complex is shown as below. The material has simple synthesis steps and mild conditions; and triethylamine is used for the quaternization of the N^N ligand, thus the obtained complex has water-solubility and then has good application prospect in the cell imaging field. The C^N ligand is 2-(2',4'-difluorophenyl)pyridine, 2-phenylpyridine, 2-(2'-thienyl)quinoline, 2-phenylquinoline, 2-fluorenylisoquinoline, 1-phenylisoquinoline or 2-(2'-benzothienyl)pyridine.
