Lipid nanoparticle compositions and related methods

The present disclosure relates to compositions comprising lipid nanoparticles (LNPs) configured for targeting dendritic cells. In particular, the present disclosure provides LNPs comprising a serine-based helper-lipid, a PEG lipid, an ionizable lipid, a cholesterol component, and one or more nucleic acids. The present disclosure provides use of the LNPs for the delivery of nucleic acid molecules, specifically mRNA; thereby making them highly suitable for use in various therapeutics, such as for the treatment of cancer or autoimmune diseases or prevention of infectious diseases. Finally, methods are provided for preparing such LNPs.

A composition comprising blood plasma and immunoglobulins for use in the treatment or prevention of an infectious disease

The present invention relates to a composition for use in the treatment or prevention of a respiratory infectious disease in a subject, wherein said composition comprises blood plasma and immunoglobulins directed against a causative agent of said respiratory infectious disease, wherein said immunoglobulins are obtained from a donor subject who has developed a humoral immune response to said causative agent of said respiratory infectious disease; and wherein said composition is administered intranasally, and optionally orally. The present invention further relates to a nasal, naso-oropharyngeal, or oro-nasal spray device comprising such composition and a nasal, naso-oropharyngeal, or oro-nasal spray comprising blood plasma and immunoglobulins directed against a causative agent of said respiratory infectious disease, wherein said immunoglobulins are obtained from a donor subject who has developed a humoral immune response to said causative agent of said respiratory infectious disease.
