A method of manufacturing a coil assembly unit comprises steps of coil forming, weaving, compressing steps. The holder operating mechanism maintains contact between the memory member and the terminal section in a state in which the memory holder having the memory member loaded on it has been moved from its position within the holder container to the loading / unloading position. This maintains the state of electrical connection to the main body unit of the device unless the memory member is not withdrawn from the memory holder.

The power supply device further comprises a resilient pressing member integrally formed with the sub-chassis, for resiliently pressing the second contacting portion toward the first contacting portion to improve a contacting force between the first and the second contacting portions. So, it is therefore an effect of the present invention to provide a new formed tray loading type magnetic recording and reproducing apparatus for accommodating different sized tape cassettes, capable of simplifying its formation, reducing fabricating cost and using a home.
