The invention discloses a
helical antenna, and the antenna comprises a hollow
dielectric column, a radiator, and a feed
assembly. The hollow
dielectric column is of a column-shaped structure with the opened lower end and the closed upper end. The radiator comprises four groups of
helical arms, wherein each group of
helical arms comprises three helical arms, and the lower ends of the three helical arms are connected together and are connected with a group of feed ports. The four groups of helical arms are arranged in parallel at equal intervals. The four groups of helical arms are wound from the lower end of the hollow
dielectric column to the upper end of the hollow dielectric column, and are disposed on the external surface of the hollow dielectric column. The feed
assembly is disposed in the lower end of the hollow dielectric column. The feed
assembly comprises one input port, a polarized power dividing device, and four output ports. The four output ports are correspondingly connected with the feed ports of the four groups of helical arms in a one-one manner. The input port receives an antenna
signal. The
helical antenna provided by the invention can improve the
antenna efficiency, is lower in
transmission loss of a
satellite terminal, reduces the heating quantity during operation, and prolongs the communication time.
