This invention relates to the field of ecological engineering governance technology, and more specifically, to an engineering isolation device for preventing soil erosion. It includes a foundation fixing component; a perforated windbreak board, which is a windbreak and dust suppression component with several through holes; uprights; a water storage tank, a tank structure disposed on the side of the perforated windbreak board away from the direction of incoming flow, used to contain fluid and sediment; an overflow component, disposed on the water storage tank, used to control the amount of fluid discharged; and an automatic cleaning device, disposed below the water storage tank, used to remove sediment and lumpy debris from the water storage tank, the automatic cleaning device including an automatic dumping component and a lumpy debris collection component. The device can intercept rainwater, protect native vegetation and farmland, and simultaneously achieve water resource recycling and centralized treatment of debris through sediment collection and targeted cleaning. This invention is mainly applied to engineering isolation for preventing soil erosion.
