The preparation method is simple and low in raw material price, the obtained spongy adsorbing material is large in toughness, is provided with pore passages and surfaces with the high hydrophilic performance and can rapidly and efficiently remove various heavy metal ions in water under the group action of the pore passages and the surfaces, the time for equilibrium adsorption of the heavy metal ions such as nickel, copper and lead is only about 10min, and the absorbed sponge is easily recycled and reused after being reproduced.
