The invention relates to a remote video monitoring system and a remote video monitoring method based on public switched telephone network-Internet protocol (PSTN-IP) double-network cooperation. The system comprises a plurality of multimedia telephone terminals and one or more network video camera devices communicating with at least one of the terminals, wherein the terminals are in audio/non-audio communication with one another respectively through the PSTN/IP network; the non-audio communication is triggered by PSTN telephone dialing; telephone numbers are used as positioning identifiers of the terminals; IP addressing among the terminals is finished by using a mapping relation between a telephone number maintained in an IP network server and an IP address, so that the non-audio communication connection based on the IP network is established; and a calling terminal sends a control instruction to the network video camera device connected to a called terminal through the non-audio communication connection and acquires video data acquired by the network camera device. By the system and the method, the requirement of family remote video monitoring can be met better; furthermore, the system and the method have flexibility and security, are convenient to operate and are convenient for realizing server network management.

The invention relates to a switching control method for public switched telephone network (PSTN)-Internet protocol (IP) network cooperative communication. The method is used for non-audio communication control between PSTN-IP network cooperative multimedia telephone terminals. Communication connection is initiated by PSTN telephone dialing, telephone numbers are taken as positioning identifiers of the multimedia telephone terminals, PSTN circuit auxiliary authentication, dynamic IP addressing and switching are performed by utilizing a server system of an IP network, IP-network-based non-audio communication connection is finally established, and non-audio communication is realized between the multimedia telephone terminals. An IP-network-based non-audio communication connection protocol is taken as a core, and a login / logout control protocol, a charging information acquisition protocol and a security control protocol are also involved. By the method, a complete non-audio communication protocol is provided, the separate transmission of audios and videos is realized by a PSTN circuit switching network and the IP network, and the short delay of audio communication and the high quality of video communication are ensured at the same time.

The method comprises the following steps: embedding a ciphertext code into a video frequency band according to a preset embedding rule, and generating an amplitude value of the video frequency band containing the ciphertext code; performing IFFT (Inverse Fast Fourier Transform) transform to the amplitude value of the video frequency band containing the ciphertext code, and generating a ciphertext-carried voice; receiving the ciphertext-carried voice by a receiving terminal, extracting synchronization information according to the synchronization algorithm, and determining a synchronization point position, so as to determine the starting position of ciphertext information embedding; performing framing and IFFT transform to the ciphertext-carried voice from the starting position of the ciphertext information embedding, and obtaining the amplitude value of the framed ciphertext-carried voice frequency band; and extracting the ciphertext code according to an extracting rule matched with the preset embedding rule, so as to code an error correcting code to the ciphertext code to generate a secret file. With the adoption of the file implicit transfer method based on the public switched telephone network, wiretapping is not easy.
