The sliding type damping connection device comprises a telescopic deformable arc line, an inner casing pipe and an outer casing pipe, wherein one end of the arc line is welded on the inner casing pipe; the other end of the arc line is welded on the outer casing pipe; one end of the inner casing pipe is connected with an external equipment terminal plate; the other end of the inner casing pipe extends into the outer casing pipe and can slide in the outer casing pipe; and the outer casing pipe is used for fixing the external tubular bus. The sliding type damping connection device has the advantages that in case of earthquake, earthquake energy can be consumed by the sliding of the inner and outer casing pipes and the deformation of the arc line, so that the earthquake response of a lead is reduced, the interaction between the tubular bus and the electrical equipment is reduced and the earthquake resistance of the electrical equipment is improved.

The present invention provides a method of diagnosing a partial discharge in a gas-insulated apparatus and a partial discharge diagnosing system for carrying out the same to achieve highly accurate diagnosis through the detection of a partial discharge signal and diagnosing the partial discharge signal through multiple conditional branching. The partial discharge diagnosing system of the present invention comprises: a partial discharge signal detector for detecting a partial discharge signal representing a partial discharge produced in the gas-insulated apparatus, a signal analyzer for receiving the partial discharge signal detected by the partial discharge detector and analyzing the partial discharge signal, a diagnostic unit for determining a cause of the partial discharge on the basis of results of analysis made by the signal analyzer, and a display unit for displaying results of diagnosis. The diagnostic unit is provided with a diagnostic means to make multiple conditional branching to a plurality of second diagnostic means according to result of diagnosis made by a first diagnostic means, and obtains a result of diagnosis made by the second diagnostic means, thereby achieving highly accurate diagnosis by detecting the partial discharge signal and subjecting the partial discharge signal to multiple conditional branching.

A system and method for coupling electrical power subsea. The system comprises a subsea penetrator to seal an opening around a conductor extending through a partition or enclosure. The subsea penetrator comprises an integral current sensor operable to produce a signal representative of current through the conductor. The penetrator comprises a boot configured to seal the opening through which the conductor extends. The current sensor may be disposed within the boot.

The substation has at least one outdoor busbar (11, 12) as well as at least two switch bays which can be connected to the busbar and at least one encapsulated, gas-insulated, arrangement of switchgear modules (30) which is arranged in one of the switch bays. This switchgear arrangement contains at least one disconnector module (DS) and at least one circuit breaker module (CB). An installation module (MM) is arranged between the disconnector module and the circuit breaker module and allows lateral removal of at least one of the two switchgear modules (DS, CB). This substation is distinguished by high availability, since each of the most severely loaded components of the encapsulated switchgear arrangement, that is to say the disconnector module and the circuit breaker module, can be removed from the substation by lateral removal without having to change the position of the other components. The present invention provides a connecting structure of a gas insulated switchgear and an oil-immersed transformer in which miniaturization and weight reduction are attained by suppressing axial length. One cone shaped insulation spacer 3 dividing insulating gas and insulating oil is arranged between the connection container 1 on a gas insulated switchgear 16 side in which the insulating gas is enclosed and the connection container 2 on an oil-immersed transformer 17 side in which the insulating oil is enclosed. The cone shaped insulating spacer 3 has a cone shape or a cross section shape similar thereto, having one side with projected surface and the other side with recessed surface, and the projected surface side is arranged on the gas insulated switchgear 16 side while the recessed side on the oil-immersed transformer 17 side. A buried conductor 4 for connecting the main circuit conductor 8 on the gas insulated switchgear 16 side to the flexible conductor 6 as the main circuit conductor of the oil-immersed transformer 17 is provided at the center portion of the cone shaped insulating spacer 3.

A system and method for coupling electrical power subsea. The system comprises a subsea electrical distribution system having at least one modular subsea circuit breaker assembly. The modular circuit breaker comprises a busbar enclosure housing a busbar. In one embodiment, the bus bar enclosure is pressurized with sulfur hexafluoride (SF₆) gas. At least one circuit breaker enclosure housing a subsea circuit breaker is secured to the busbar enclosure. The interior of the busbar enclosure may be sealed from the interior of the circuit breaker enclosure. The circuit breaker enclosure may be pressurized with SF₆ gas.

The invention concerns a high voltage polyphase so-called hybrid distributing station with single or double busbar set, comprising busbar connections (A, B, C, D) of air insulated lines (21, 22) and comprising shielded interruption and switching modules (1) each formed by a chamber (2) comprising for every current phase interruption and disconnect systems, an end disconnecting system (4A, 4B) being arranged at each end (13, 14) of a module. The invention is characterised in that the busbar connections are in opposite pairs facing each other, and two opposite busbar connections (A, B) are electrically connected for every current phase for a single module (1) when the interruption systems (3A, 3B, 3C) and the end disconnecting systems (4A, 4B) of said modules are closed, said end disconnecting systems being each connected to a busbar connection (A, B).
