This invention discloses a smart
street light and method capable of recycling rainwater, solar, and wind energy. The
street light includes a
street light support plate, an LED light panel mounted on the underside of the support plate, a
solar power panel mounted on the upper side of the support plate, a transparent rainwater-driven power generation device mounted on the upper side of the
solar power panel, a wind generator connected to the side of the support plate, and a pole connecting
pipe connected to the support plate. A
power controller is installed inside the pole connecting
pipe, and a NEMA smart controller is installed at one end of the
pipe. The smart street light also includes a battery. The
power controller is electrically connected to the
solar power panel, the rainwater-driven power generation device, the wind generator, the battery, and the NEMA smart controller. The LED light panel is electrically connected to the NEMA smart controller. This invention features high
renewable energy utilization, energy saving, and
environmental protection. It can receive control center commands or control the LED light panel's start-up time,
operating time, and brightness level according to a preset control program. It can also monitor the operating status in real time and transmit the data to the control center.
