The invention provides a method for transversely moving the waveform of a touch oscilloscope in horizontal and vertical directions. The method includes the steps that (A) whether a waveform area slides or not is judged, if the waveform area slides, the (B) is executed, and otherwise corresponding operations are executed or a current interface is maintained; (B) whether single-finger sliding occurs is judged, if single-finger sliding occurs, the (C) is executed, and otherwise the (D) is executed; (C) whether the included angle between the current sliding speed direction and the horizontal or vertical direction is within a set range, if the included angle between the current sliding speed direction and the horizontal or vertical direction is within the set range, the waveform is horizontally moved in the horizontal or vertical direction according to the sliding speed, the (E) is executed, and otherwise the position of the waveform is maintained and the (E) is executed; (D) whether two-finger synchronous sliding in the same direction occurs is judged, if two-finger synchronous sliding in the same direction occurs, fine adjustment is carried out, the (E) is executed, and otherwise corresponding operations are executed or position of the waveform is maintained and the (E) is executed; (E) whether fingers are away from a touch sensitive display screen is judged, if the fingers are away from the touch sensitive display screen, the waveform is decelerated until stopped from being moved horizontally, and otherwise the (B) is repeated. The invention further relates to a device for achieving the method. The method and device have the advantages that operations are visual, effective displaying space is high, service life is long, and cleaning is easy to achieve.
