Adjustable drain apparatus

An drain that is adjustable in height and pitch to allow the top of the drain to conform to the pitch of the surface of a surrounding surface. The adjustable drain apparatus is positioned level with a floor therearound. Where the drain has a grate, designed to allow fluid to drain therethrough, a funnel, having an upper end coupled to the grate, and a lower end, and a ring, having an inner surface used to attach to the lower end, and an outer substantially spherical surface that allows the grate to be tilted. There is also a cavity formed therein, an upper and lower spherical surface, positioned in the cavity, designed to mate with the spherical surface of the ring, and to securely hold the ring therebetween, and a plate, positioned about the funnel, designed to be secured to the drain base and close the cavity in a way to securely hold the ring and thereby the funnel in a specific tilted position after adjustment. There is a connector coupled to the drain base and positioned below the cavity, designed to be connected to a pipe. Wherein the upper and lower spherical surfaces are mounted on an upper and lower adapter that are placed within the cavity around the ring. Additionally, the funnel has threads positioned therearound, and the ring has threads positioned on the inner surface so that the funnel can be threaded into the ring.

Vegetation configuration method for preventing water and soil loss of mine dump of dry-hot valley

The invention discloses a vegetation configuration method for preventing the water and soil loss of a mine dump of a dry-hot valley. The method comprises the following steps: performing topsoil stripping on the dump; building an intercepting ditch, a drainage ditch and a water collecting tank on a platform of the dump; screening vegetation types, including shrubs, herbs and liana, suitable for growing in the mine dump of the dry-hot valley; performing targeted planting; after the vegetation of the mine dump is planted, enclosing the dump by using a wire mesh or a fence to prevent a slope surface from being destroyed by domestic animals. According to the principles of soil and water conservation and restoration ecology, vegetation species are reasonably combined by aiming at that the habitat of the mine dump of the dry-hot valley is severe and different slope positions have different soil erosion intensity and water conditions, so that a reliable technical path is provided for recovering the vegetation in a mining region as quickly as possible. Moreover, the vegetation configuration method for preventing the water and soil loss of the mine dump of the dry-hot valley has the characteristics of high operability and high comprehensive benefit.

Dual-carrier ABSK communication system on basis of same narrow-band filter

The invention relates to a dual-carrier ABSK communication system on the basis of the same narrow-band filter, which comprises a dual-carrier ABSK modulator and a dual-carrier ABSK demodulator. The dual-carrier ABSK modulator is used for alternately modulating each data bits of a path of data sequence with a code rate of 2Rbps onto two paths of ABSK signals of which carrier frequencies respectively are fc1 and fc2 and both the code rates are Rbps; on the two paths, a T time interval is reserved between positions at which each path of '1' code element appears, i.e. the simultaneous appearance of '1' on the two paths of carrier frequencies can be completely eliminated at an initial end; and T represents a code element period of the data sequence; the dual-carrier ABSK demodulator comprises the narrow-band filter of which both left and right transition zones are very precipitous; and when the carrier frequencies fc1 and fc2 are respectively positioned at the high-slope positions of the left and right transition zones, the narrow-band filter utilizes the slope phase demodulation characteristic to convert phase information of a double-carrier ABSK receiving signal at the position of each path of code element '1' into obvious and strong parasitic amplitude modulation impact, so that an envelope detector can output an impact envelope pulse which is naturally combined into the code rate 2Rbps.

Anti-freeze anti-seepage water diversion treatment method of collapsible loess water-conveyance canal

The invention discloses an anti-freeze anti-seepage water diversion treatment method of a collapsible loess water-conveyance canal, and the anti-freeze anti-seepage water diversion treatment method comprises the following steps of: forming an anti-seepage layer positioned on the lower part of the canal at the bottom of the canal and side slopes positioned at both sides of the canal; filling coarse-grained soil anti-freeze layer on the anti-seepage layer; arranging vertical water diversion sand drains at intervals along the longitudinal subsection of the channel under the anti-seepage layer positioned at the bottom of the canal, or paving horizontal water collecting pipes in the coarse-grained soil anti-freeze layer positioned on the anti-seepage layer positioned at the bottom of the canal, wherein the horizontal water collecting pipes are provided with horizontal water discharge pipes or/and longitudinal water diversion pipes by being communicated outside the canal to discharge leakage water collected on the coarse-grained soil anti-freeze layer out of a loess yuan or to the bottom of the canal in a guiding way; paving an upper geomembrane cloth or a modified asphalt anti-seepage plate on the coarse-grained soil anti-freeze layer; and pouring a concrete panel on the upper geomembrane cloth or the modified asphalt anti-seepage plate. The anti-freeze anti-seepage water diversion treatment method of the collapsible loess water-conveyance canal, which is disclosed by the invention, does not destroy the original texture of soil, is also suitable for the deep collapsible loess layer and is lower in cost and simple in construction.

Movable rainfall simulating and flow collecting device

The invention relates to a movable rainfall simulating and flow collecting device which comprises a bearing trolley, multiple slope position supports, multiple runoff plots, flow collecting barrels and flow guide pipes. Universal wheels are arranged at the bottom of the bearing trolley. The bearing trolley comprises a front wall, two side plates, a rear plate and a bottom compartment used for collecting rainwater. The bottom compartment is of a two-layer structure and comprises an upper plate and a lower plate. The upper plate of the bottom compartment is a porous plate. A rainwater outlet is formed in the lower plate of the bottom compartment and connected with a rainwater recovery pipe. The slope position supports are located on the upper plate of the bottom compartment. The rear ends of the runoff plots are located on the slope position supports. The front ends of the runoff plots abut against the front wall. Flow guide holes are formed in the front ends of the runoff plots and connected with one ends of the flow guide pipes. The other ends of the flow guide pipes extend out from the upper side of the front wall, and the flow collecting barrels are arranged below the other ends, extending out of the upper side of the front wall, of the flow guide pipes. The movable rainfall simulating and flow collecting device has the advantages of being light in weight, convenient to carry, resistant to corrosion and not prone to rusting, and moving fast.

Method for preventing debris flow disaster and reusing debris flow products

The invention relates to a method for preventing debris flow disaster and reusing debris flow products. The problems that the debris flow blocking dam body has bad flood relief effect and damage to the dam body is easily caused in the prior art, and the problem that prevention measures on impact on the dam body by large stones do not exist are solved. The method is characterized by comprising the following steps: building a stone blocking pile at the gentle slope position of a mountainside and building a water diversion trench below the stone blocking pile; building a mud blocking damp at the position at the foot of a mountain, building a water blocking damp below the mud blocking damp at the foot of the mountain, and building a plurality of flood discharging trenches on the upper part of the mud blocking damp; and reusing the debris flow products. By the method, impact of the debris flow on the mud blocking damp can be reduced and the flowing direction of the flood in the debris flow is guided, so that the degree and the influence range of the debris flow disaster are effectively reduced; and mud and water which are generated by the debris flow can be separated and the debris flow products can be reused.
