The invention discloses a light control alignment polyimide liquid crystal alignment membrane as well as a preparation method and application thereof. The preparation method of the light control alignment polyimide liquid crystal alignment membrane comprises the following steps that a polyamide acid resin solution is prepared by using organic diamine containing heteroaromatic rings, aromatic diamine and aliphatic tetracid dianhydride as raw materials; an auxiliary agent is added into the polyamide acid resin solution to form a homogeneous phase solution; after the attenuation, polyimide liquidcrystal alignment liquid is obtained; the polyimide liquid crystal alignment liquid is applied on a base plate; through precuring treatment and curing treatment, a polyimide coating membrane is obtained; linear polarized ultraviolet light is used for irradiating the polyimide coating membrane; then, through an annealing treatment machine, the light control alignment polyimide liquid crystal alignment membrane is obtained. The light control alignment polyimide alignment membrane provided by the invention can be used for preparing TFT-LCD devices; the obtained TFT-LCD devices have the characteristics of low pretilt angle (0.2 degree or below), high VHR (greater than 95 percent), low RDC (smaller than 350 mV), liquid crystal box alignment uniformity and the like; the prepared IPS mode TFT-LCD displays can be widely applied to the fields of mobile electronics, monitors, televisions and the like.
