The invention relates to a heat accumulating solar coupling enhanced vapor injection type air source heat pump system and a control method thereof. The system comprises an enhanced vapor injection compressor, a four-way reversing valve, a gas-liquid separator, a first electronic expansion valve, a second electronic expansion valve, an indoor heat exchanger, an outdoor heat exchanger, a hot water tank, an electric heater and related valves, and is characterized by further comprising a heat accumulator and a solar heat collector. When the environment temperature is lower than a switching temperature in the winter, solar energy is coupled with an air source heat pump by the heat accumulator; and when the heat of the heat accumulator is not enough, a heat storage process of the heat pump is started. In other seasons, the solar energy is directly used for heating water, and therefore, the advantages of the solar energy are fully played. The heat accumulator is used as an auxiliary heat source of an air injection branch, and the mass flow rate of a refrigerant of an air injection line and the heating capacity of a unit can be greatly increased, so that the unit can still run stably when the environment temperature is quite low (for example, the environment temperature is lower than -20 DEG C). Meanwhile, defrosting of the unit can be implemented well.
