The invention provides a battery modle which prevents temperature nonuniformity at each
battery cell and improves the mountability of a
thermistor, wherein the temperature nonuniformity is caused by the
thermistor mounted on the rack between multiple battery cells. The
thermistor supporter (12i) for holding the thermistor (22) on the rack (12) is arranged opposite to the bottom face (11d) of the
battery cell (11). Therefore a
cooling medium flowing in from one side of the pair of side surfaces (11b) of each
battery cell (11) flows along the pair of main cooling surfaces (11a) and subsequently flows out from the other side of the pair of side surfaces (11b). Accordingly, the
cooling medium is less likely to interfere with the thermistor supporter (11i) of the holder (12). Thus, even with the multiple holders (12) having the same shape, a difference in a leakage of cooling air between the thermistor supporter (12i) of the holder equipped with the thermistor (22) and the thermistor supporter of the holder without the thermistor is prevented, thereby achieving a uniformly cooled state of the battery cells (11) as well as a longer lifespan thereof. Moreover, when the thermistor (22) is inserted into the thermistor supporter, the elastic claw expands after passing the thermistor receiving segment so as to engage with the thermistor engagement segment (12i). Therefore the thermistor (22) can be fixed in a simple and reliable way.
