Abstract

The invention discloses a radix puerariae chewable tablet and application thereof. The radix puerariae is prepared from a radix puerariae extract, a chromium-enriched yeast, wheat bran, polyvinylpyrrolidone, aspartame, nitric acid and magnesium stearate, wherein the radix puerariae extract is prepared by the method which comprises the following steps: crushing radix puerariae into radix puerariae powder; and extracting the radix puerariae powder in water, and concentrating so as to obtain the radix puerariae extract, wherein the radix puerariae powder is extracted at an extraction temperature of 80-90 DEG C by an extraction duration of 1.5-2h, and the dosage of water is 20-30mL/g of the radix puerariae powder. The radix puerariae chewable tablet provided by the invention can reduce FBG (fasting blood glucose), TCH (total cholesterol), TG (triglyceride) and LDL-C (low-density lipoprotein cholesterol) and can increase HDL-C (high-density lipoproteincholesterol); therefore, the radix puerariae chewable tablet disclosed by the invention can reduce a high blood glucose level in a rat with type II diabetes and can improve hyperlipemia of the rat; and by regulating a blood lipid level and improving an insulin sensitivity, glucose utilization can be enhanced.
