The invention discloses a method for selectively synthesizing 4-seleno-
isocoumarin-1-
imine in an electrochemical driving region and application of the 4-seleno-
isocoumarin-1-
imine, and belongs to the technical field of synthesis of organic heterocyclic compounds. According to the method, N-substituted 2-alkynyl
benzamide and organic
diselenide are used as raw materials, in an
organic solvent containing
electrolyte, a carbon-based material is used as an
electrode, an electrolytic reaction is carried out under the condition of
constant current, and a target product is obtained through separation and purification. According to the method, an electrochemical oxidation strategy is utilized, the problem of selectivity of competitive O-
attack and N-
attack cyclization paths is effectively solved by regulating and controlling the
electronic effect of
substituent groups on
amide nitrogen, and O-cyclization products are guided in a high-
regioselectivity manner. The method does not need to use a
transition metal catalyst and an external chemical oxidant, and has the advantages of mild
reaction conditions, wide substrate application range, high
atom economy, easiness in amplification and the like; the obtained product has good
antifungal activity and has application potential in the field of agricultural chemicals.
