Abstract

The invention discloses a water-based quick-setting adhesive which comprises AB type block copolymer emulsion prepared by RAFT (reversible addition-fragmentation chain transfer) emulsion polymerization method, in emulsion particles in the emulsion, a block A is a shell layer and contains active sites, and a block B is a core layer; the monomers forming the A block comprise one of reaction active monomers; one of an acrylic monomer or a methacrylic monomer; and at least two of an acrylate monomer, a methacrylate monomer, and a styrene monomer; the monomers forming the block B comprise at least two of a styrene monomer, an acrylate monomer and a methacrylate monomer. Due to the design of the AB type block copolymer core-shell structure and active sites, the adhesive disclosed by the invention can be used for quickly bonding two bonding surfaces within 10-20 seconds under a relatively small external force after spraying, roller coating and brush coating.
