Lighted reading glasses are provided to enable clear reading of normal sized text to occur when the reading material is held at usual distances from the reader in dimly lit or dark locations. The lighted glasses have high intensity lights, such as in the form of LEDs that generate narrow light beam cones and which are oriented via light mounts as by inward canting of the light beam cones to meet and overlap so high brightness light is generated in a conical overlap area of light which is maximized in size in the range of normal reading distances. The light mounts include housings that are very compactly sized via the use of small coin cell batteries for powering the LEDs they hold. The housings are tapered from their maximum width sized to be slightly larger than the diameter of the disc-shaped cell batteries to either end thereof along their length, and have a depth sized to accommodate two of the stacked very thin, e.g., one-eighth of an inch each, coin cell batteries. In this manner, a very small and compact light module is provided that, while especially well-suited for reading glasses due to the preferred inward cant provided by light mounting surfaces of the housing to tailor the location of the overlap lighted area to the reading area, can also be used with other types of head gear, such as caps or other types of hats.

The invention discloses an intelligent two-wire pressure transmitter with a spring tube as a pressure measurement sensitive element. The pressure transmitter comprises a spring tube and a displacement detection circuit which is connected with the spring tube; the displacement detection circuit is connected with an analog-to-digital conversion circuit; the analog-to-digital conversion circuit is connected with a microprocessor; the microprocessor is respectively connected with a display and a digital-to-analog conversion circuit; and the digital-to-analog conversion circuit is connected with apower source supply and output circuit. According to the intelligent spring tube pressure transmitter, disclosed by the invention, a mechanically driven appointer mechanism is removed on the basis ofthe traditional spring tube (also called bourdon tube) type pressure gauge; displacement signals generated by pressing force are converted into electric parameters through the displacement detection circuit; and size of the equivalent pressing force is thereby measured through measurement of the electric parameters. The electric parameters after being subjected to the A/D conversion and the digital processing of the microprocessor are displayed digitally, and 4-20 mA DC current signals are output. The intelligent spring tube pressure transmitter, disclosed by the invention, has the advantagesof low cost, high performance and wide market prospect.

Improved air volume measuring device based on L-shaped pitot tube

An improved air volume measuring device based on an L-shaped pitot tube comprises a pitot tube composed of a U-shaped tube and an L-shaped tube. A cross-shaped tube is arranged at the rear end of the L-shaped tube, the two adjacent ends of the cross-shaped tube are connected with the static pressure end and the total pressure end of the U-shaped tube respectively, the U-shaped tube is filled with liquid, a strip-shaped gradienter is arranged on the L-shaped tube, and the strip-shaped gradienter is parallel with the L-shaped tube. The upper end of the cross-shaped tube is connected with the static pressure end of the U-shaped tube, a plummet is hung to the lower end of the cross-shaped tube, the lower portion of the L-shaped tube is movably connected with a guide rail through a slider support, and the slider support moves in the guide rail to make the L-shaped tube keep horizontal. The improved air volume measuring device solves the personal error problem caused by the fact that the L-shaped tube is held by hand, and meanwhile relevant improvement is made for solving the measuring point positioning problem in the air volume measuring process, data measuring accuracy is guaranteed, workloads of personnel are reduced, and human resource cost is reduced.
