Disclosed is a multifunctional instrument for measuring fuel consumption of
diesel engine.
Fuel oil enters a main unit from a daily oil cabinet through a first flowmeter; part of the
fuel oil entering the main unit returns, as return oil, into an oil incoming
pipe of the main unit; another part of the
fuel oil is injected into a cylinder of the main unit and burns; the rest becomes leaking oil, leaking to a leaking cabinet through an umbrella unit of a
booster pump; a measurement loop of the
fuel oil passing through the flowmeters is formed; an FCM10A
oil consumption meter receives measurement
flow pulse signals of the flowmeters and also receives electrical signals, including power, speed and torque, transmitted by a
dynamometer; the
flow pulse signals and the electrical signals are transmitted to a computer; the computer calculates the signals in real time through FCM10A
software and displays changes in
diesel engine fuel consumption and fuel consumption rate in the whole measuring phase; finally, an average fuel consumption rate of the
diesel engine in the measurement time is output. The instrument has the advantages that testing of various functions can be implemented, output data is comprehensive, secondary
processing is not required, testing is accurate, operations are convenient, and hardware is easy to purchase.
