This invention discloses a flat-top
gantry crane, relating to the field of crane technology. It includes a
tower body, a gantry frame mounted at the lower end of the
tower body, a slewing support mounted at the upper end of the
tower body, a
machine platform mounted at the upper end of the slewing support, a
machine room mounted at the upper end of the
machine platform, a boom mounted at the front end of the machine platform, a luffing device installed inside the boom, a second luffing
wire rope and a first luffing
wire rope mounted on the left and right sides of the luffing device respectively, a luffing trolley mounted at one end of the second luffing
wire rope, the luffing trolley being slidably connected to the lower end of the boom, and one end of the first luffing wire
rope being connected to the luffing trolley. A hook is mounted at the lower end of the luffing trolley via a hoisting wire
rope. This invention, through a series of structural features, significantly reduces the luffing resistance of horizontal traction compared to a boom-tilting type, reduces the
motor power of the luffing mechanism, and increases the luffing speed, thereby greatly improving work efficiency.
