Imaging Positioning System Having Robotically Positioned D-Arm

An imaging positioning system having a robotically positioned support structure is provided. By utilizing a robotic arm, imaging along multiple planes within a patient treatment room without having to move the patient is provided. Such a configuration allows multiple axis x-ray imaging, cone beam CT acquisitions having a dynamic field of view, and PET imaging within the treatment room. Rotation of the imaging panel on the support structure allows the imaging system to simulate a gantry rotation when a fixed beam is used for treatment. Beam line x-ray imaging is also provided by tilting the imaging panel or by moving the support structure on which the x-ray source is positioned. Laser distance scanning for collision avoidance and force torque sensing movement enhance the safety thereof. The support structure may be in the form of a ring along which the imaging components may move.

Structure and method for enhancing resistance to fracture of bonding pads

The present invention provides bond pads structures between semiconductor integrated circuits and the chip package with enhanced resistance to fracture and improved reliability. Mismatch in the coefficient of temperature expansion (CTE) among the materials used in bond structures induces stress and shear on them that may result in fractures within the back end dielectric stacks and cause reliability problems of the packaging. By placing multiple metal pads which are connected to the bond pad through multiple metal via, the adhesion between the bond pads and the back end dielectric stacks is enhanced.

Receiver plate with multiple cross-sections

A multi-well assembly including a filter plate and receiver plate. Each plate includes a plurality of wells, which, when the filter plate is placed in nesting relationship with the receiver plate, each filter plate well has a corresponding receiver plate well into which it extends. The receiver plate wells are of a non-uniform cross-section in order to increase the gap between the outer walls of the filter plate wells and the inner walls of a corresponding receiver plate well when the receiver plate and filter plate are in nesting relationship. The increased gap size reduces wicking and cross-contamination. A multi-section well of maximum cross-section in an upper region and a minimized cross-section in a lower region, with a gradual transition between the regions, is thus provided. The multi-well assembly of the present invention also improves the repeatability of positioning the filter plate and receiver plate in proper nesting relationship and provides stability during handling, mixing and shaking operations.

Flipping conversion seat and lean post

A conversion seat for a marine vessel that converts from a lean post configuration to a seat configuration. In a stowed position, the seat is stored vertically exposing a cushion that can be used as a lean post. When a positive lock is released the seat is able to rotate, in some embodiments with an assist from a gas strut, two-hundred and seventy (270) degrees until the seat lands on a horizontal surface. When released, a backrest opens to a desired angle providing a comfortable seat or sun pad. To stow the seat for use as a lean post, the backrest is folded back down and then the seat is able to rotate back through the two-hundred and seventy (270) degrees to its vertical stowed position.

Memory management method

The invention discloses a memory management method which comprises the following steps of predefining a public code and a private code; dividing memory space with preset size to the public code; selecting the private code according to actual scene; dividing corresponding memory space according to the selected private code to load the private code; and establishing a memory pool according to the rest available memory. Compared with the prior art, the establishing time of the memory pool of the memory management method provided by the invention is in the stage after program codes for specific operation of systems are determined, instead of the initialization stage of the systems so that when the memory pool is established, the rest available memory of the systems is known and is capable of maximizing the available space for establishing the memory pool, and thus, the use efficiency of memory is greatly improved.

Single lumen catheter with separate tubes therein

A catheter is provided that includes multiple passages within a catheter body. These passages are arranged in a way so as to maximize the usable space within the catheter body. More specifically, multiple tubes are positioned within a central lumen of the catheter. Both the tubes and the central lumen are used as passages for various functionality of the catheter, such as communication of air or fluids. By sharing the free space within the central lumen of the catheter, the flow area of this passage is maximized as compared with simply using an extruded lumen for each passage. Hence, the catheter can allow the addition of more passages than similarly sized prior art catheters.

Litter scooping receptacle

ActiveUS20220217937A1Effectively and reliably siftShrink design footprintAnimal housingAgricultural engineeringEnvironmental geology
One embodiment of a scooping litter receptacle, which forms a compact cylindrical exterior design, includes a scooping device that can move within a litter filled channel inside a base container. The scoop is able to pass through the entire bed of litter granules, thus, separating waste material from usable litter. The scoop can then be lifted from the litter receptacle by the handle so that the complete scooping process can be done by the user without the user coming into contact with parts that have traversed through the soiled litter mass. Also, the scooping device is not fixed to the base container which makes it easy to remove and discard the waste as well to remove for cleaning. Further, the base container is designed such that the scooping device can be stored on the outside of the litter receptacle. An optional top cover allows for the litter receptacle to be enclosed which helps reduce litter tracking outside the litter receptacle as well as providing a compact and tidy appearance.
