This invention provides a
head and neck protection device for rear-end collisions, including a headrest seat, a first buffer
assembly, and a limiting mechanism. When a rear-end collision occurs, the impacted vehicle accelerates forward, causing the head of an occupant to strike the first
cushion. Upon
impact, the first
cushion drives a guide seat to move, compressing multiple sets of buffers. At this time, the first
cushion and the multiple buffers work together to cushion the
impact on the head, improving the device's buffering effect and reducing head injuries. Simultaneously, the movement of the guide seat drives the fixing
assembly to release the limiting rod. The driving component then drives the limiting rod to rotate to a second state, so that the arc-shaped portion of the limiting rod faces the first cushion. When the head moves forward due to the
impact reaction force, the limiting rod can contact the head, thereby limiting large-scale forward head movement, preventing neck strain, and improving the device's protective effect.
