The invention relates to a method for preparing energetic hollow microspheres, in particular to a method for preparing energetic hollow microspheres through
microwave heating, and belongs to the fieldof energetic materials. An energetic hollow
microsphere prepared by a
microwave heating method mainly comprises the following components in parts by weight: 1-15 parts of an expanding agent, 1-10 parts of a wave-absorbing material, 60-95 parts of an energetic additive and 10-30 parts of a
polymer monomer. The method includes: mixing a
polymer monomer, an initiator, a cross-linking agent and a
foaming agent to form an
oil phase; then adding an energetic additive and a wave-absorbing material into the
oil phase, uniformly mixing the components, dispersing the components in the water phase, carrying out
suspension polymerization in a high-pressure reaction kettle, then heating and curing the product to obtain energetic microspheres, and finally carrying out
microwave-assisted heating for foaming and expansion, and cooling the product to obtain the energetic hollow microspheres. Different from a traditional
direct heating method with
temperature gradient, the microwave heating method hasthe advantages that the
temperature gradient is different, wherein the microwave can enable the energetic microspheres containing the wave-absorbing material to start to be heated and expanded at thesame time, so that the uniformity of the particle size of the final energetic hollow microspheres is guaranteed, and meanwhile breakage of part of the energetic microspheres caused by uneven heating is avoided.
