A passive entry system for an vehicle door requires no active operator input to gain entrance to the vehicle. A door module recognizes the signal transmitted by an authorized key fob to identify the operator of the vehicle. The authentication of the operator coupled with the operator touching a sensor on the door to be opened actuates a release actuator that unlatches the selected door. The spring-load provided by the door seal will pop the door open from the closed position. A key cylinder, which can be located substantially anywhere on the door, is coupled mechanically to the release latch for use if the battery is weak and cannot activate the release actuator. An LED signals the state of the opening sequence for the door. The fixed door handle can incorporate a membrane switch or a capacitive sensor to indicate the selection of the door by the operator when touched.

A pair of opposing pillows is interconnected by a connecting member to provide an adjustable transverse spacing between the opposing pillows. A grid system for torsion spring mounting of aluminum-framed panels is provided which includes a plurality of main grid beams and spacer bars. A spring-assisted fold mechanism for a child's stroller is operable to collapse the stroller frame into a storage configuration upon actuation of a release mechanism controlling the stroller fold latch mechanism. A tailgate structural configuration accommodates the housing of a supplemental tailgate internally within the tailgate. The tailgate is formed with an outer panel and an inner panel to define an internal cavity. The machine includes a heating apparatus for raising the temperature of the surface of the road surrounding the pothole to soften the material for bonding with the material to be inserted into the pothole. A plurality of screening doors extends along the transverse width of the machine, each door being adjustably controlled by a depth sensor member.

A safety needle assembly has a rigid housing that encloses a locking mechanism cooperable with actuator that slides over the tip of the needle to prevent accidental sticks after the needle has been used. The locking mechanism operates to place into interference two members, one of which is fixed relative to the outer housing, while the other is formed on the actuator that is slidably mounted in the housing for movement in response to the syringe plunger reaching the end movement at the bottom of the syringe barrel to move from an exposed position into a covered position. In one embodiment, the actuator includes a pair of axially extending legs having cam members formed thereon to engage a bridge member spanning diametrically across the housing. A safety cap is formed with ribs around the mounting end to prevent the safety cap from rolling across a planar surface.

A wheel lift assembly lockout mechanism for an agricultural mower having a lift cylinder for moving the mower frame between raised and lowered positions. The lockout mechanism is positioned adjacent to a rod end of a lift cylinder and is pivotable between generally opposing lockout and free positions. First and second stops interact with the lift cylinder depending upon the position of the lockout mechanism to provide at least two stop positions allowing minimum mower heights in each stop position to be established. The lockout mechanism further includes a bias apparatus and a lockout limiter to enable a specific lockout height to be imposed with minimal impact other operational aspects of the wheel lift assembly.

A car seat is formed with a seat member pivotally connected to a base member for positional adjustment in desired reclined positions controlled by an intuitively operable adjustment mechanism. The seat back is pivotally connected to the seat member to be oriented in a shipping position or an operative position. This integrated duct utilizes all incoming air at all stages of flight with no change in either the geometry of the air capture portion of the engine or the engine itself, and no exposure of movable leading edges.
