In still other embodiments, the chamber is designed for use with distal extremital portions of a body. In further embodiments, the appliance also comprises a semi-permeable liner positioned between the chamber and the portion of a body to be treated. The invention relates to a medicament for treating lymphedema and venous edema. The medicament is mainly prepared from the following raw material medicaments in part by weight: 20 to 40 parts of lightyellow sophora root, 5 to 15 parts of figwort root, 5 to 15 parts of root of red-rooted salvia and 5 to 15 parts of ginger.
