69 results about "Photographic printing" patented technology

Photographic printing is the process of producing a final image on paper for viewing, using chemically sensitized paper. The paper is exposed to a photographic negative, a positive transparency (or slide), or a digital image file projected using an enlarger or digital exposure unit such as a LightJet printer. Alternatively, the negative or transparency may be placed atop the paper and directly exposed, creating a contact print. Photographs are more commonly printed on plain paper, for example by a color printer, but this is not considered "photographic printing".

Apparatus, architecture and method for high-speed printing

A high-speed digital photographic printing system and method includes image-specific backprinting and automatic tracking and sorting of printed jobs. The system includes one or more photographic printers, where each printer can have a different printing rate. A scheduler schedules printing orders to the different printers. The printer-independent image rendering is conducted asynchronous to the printing to maximize the printing throughput. In some embodiments, the rendering image processor does the vast majority of the image processing and outputs a printer-independent data file (generally much larger than the source image data file) that requires little if any further data manipulations or processing in the exposure unit. A photographic printing method and system for producing prints in response to input digital images includes a high-speed exposure unit that exposes a photosensitive material coated on a substrate in response to the input digital image, a chemical processor unit that receives and processes the exposed photosensitive material to form visible dye images on the substrate, a backprinting unit that receives the substrate having the visible dye images and prints information on the opposite surface of the substrate to the dye image, and a cutting unit that produces separate sheets of printed images after the backprinting unit prints information.

The invention relates to a method for recreating after a photographic work is printed on rice paper, which comprises the following steps: a piece of rice paper is selected; data of a photographic work is selected according to the code requirements, debugged in a computer through the front-end flow which is controlled by a color management system built by software and hardware, and stored as data for special output; multicolored mineral pigment ink and a high-precision ink jet printer which is matched with the multicolored mineral pigment ink are selected, and the selected photographic work can be printed and outputted on the rice paper by means of standardized mass production through the rear-end flow which is controlled by the built color management system of the computer; and secondary creation or creation for a plurality of times is performed on the rice paper with the outputted work, and finally a rice paper photographic printing artwork is formed. The method has the advantages that the method breaks through the image copying technology in common meaning and the traditional expression form of the traditional Chinese painting art, realizes harmonious fusion of a plurality of types of art and the copying technology, greatly prolongs the retention period of the photographic work, improves the value of the photographic work, and overcomes the defect of vulnerability when the photographic work uses a piece of printing paper. Simultaneously, the global universality of the photographic work can improve the value of the Chinese rice paper and carry forward the culture of the Chinese rice paper in the world.
