Photographic paper is a paper coated with a light-sensitive chemical formula, used for making photographic prints. When photographic paper is exposed to light, it captures a latent image that is then developed to form a visible image; with most papers the image density from exposure can be sufficient to not require further development, aside from fixing and clearing, though latent exposure is also usually present. The light-sensitive layer of the paper is called the emulsion. The most common chemistry was based on silver salts (the focus of this page) but other alternatives have also been used.

This utility model provides a self-portrait auxiliary device for a protective case of an instant camera. The self-portrait auxiliary device includes a main body and a base. The lower end of the main body is provided with a U-shaped slot. The bottom surface of the base is provided with a first threaded hole for connecting with a selfie stick. The outer side of the main body is provided with a first groove, a power button, an indicator light, and a charging hole. The bottom surface of the first groove is provided with an indicator light and a second threaded hole for connecting with a selfie stick. The first groove is used to hold a remote control. After the protective case is connected to the base, the base is engaged in the U-shaped slot, and the protective case is partially wrapped by the main body. With the above structure, the camera can be fixed to facilitate users taking selfies and reduce the waste of photographic paper.

Compostable carrier material for photographic paper
The present invention relates to a compostable carrier material for photographic paper comprising a paper layer and a biodegradable polymer layer on at least one side of the paper layer. The present invention also relates to a photographic paper comprising a compostable carrier material according to the present invention. Furthermore, the present invention also relates to the use of a compostable carrier material according to the present invention in a photographic paper according to the present invention, and to a method for producing a compostable carrier material according to the present invention comprising the following steps: (a) providing a paper layer; (b) coating the paper layer on at least one side with a biodegradable polymer layer; (c) optionally coating the biodegradable polymer layer with an adhesive layer; (d) coating the image receiving layer on the biodegradable polymer layer applied in step (b) or on the adhesive layer applied in optional step (c).
