Photographic paper is a paper coated with a light-sensitive chemical formula, used for making photographic prints. When photographic paper is exposed to light, it captures a latent image that is then developed to form a visible image; with most papers the image density from exposure can be sufficient to not require further development, aside from fixing and clearing, though latent exposure is also usually present. The light-sensitive layer of the paper is called the emulsion. The most common chemistry was based on silver salts (the focus of this page) but other alternatives have also been used.

Coating fluid for inkjet high-gloss waterproof printing paper, and printing paper and preparation method thereof

The invention discloses a coating fluid for preparing inkjet high-gloss waterproof printing paper, which comprises the following components in parts by weight: 10-40 parts of ink powder adsorbent, 30-55 parts of adhesive, 0.05-0.15 part of whitener, 0.05-0.15 part of dispersing agent, 2-5 parts of defoaming agent, 1-3 parts of neutralizer and 140-200 parts of distilled water. The adhesive is a cationic water-based polyurethane emulsion. The invention also discloses a printing paper for preparing the coating fluid and a preparation method thereof. The coating fluid has the advantages of no toxicity, no odor, favorable bonding property and favorable water resistance; the coating has favorable weather resistance and can bear sunlight irradiation for a long time; the coating has the advantages of high internal-structure strength and favorable adhesion for the substrate; and the coating printing surface has favorable scratch resistance. The printing paper prepared from the coating fluid has the advantages of ultrahigh drying rate after ink absorption, bright color, high color reduction degree, no piling phenomenon and favorable waterproof effect; and the output image has clear and sharp picture.

Photobooth with improved accessibility and optical characteristics

In a photographic apparatus (1), there are included a housing (11) consisting of a pair of side panels (13, 14) and a top panel (15) provided contiguously to the side panels (13, 14) in pair, these panels defining together a photo compartment (16) in the housing (11), a photographic unit (17) provided at the rear side of the housing (11) to take a picture of an object person inside the photo compartment (16), printers (18, 19) installed to the housing (11) to print an image of the object person, captured by the photographic unit (17), onto a photographic paper and eject the photographic paper having the object image printed thereon to a photo outlet (38), and a curtain (33) provided, by hanging, on the top panel (15) at the front side, opposite to the rear side, of the housing (11) to face the photographic unit (17). One (13) of the side panels (13, 14) is formed narrower than the other (14). The housing (11) is generally flush, at the bottom thereof, with the floor surface. The area extending from the front end of the housing (11) to that of the narrower side panel (13) is an entrance (23) for the object person entering the photo chamber (16). Because of this wide entrance (23), even a person sitting on a wheelchair or using any other aid can easily enter the photo compartment (16) for photography.

The invention provides a system and method for quickly testing and analyzing the deposition and drift performances of pesticide. The system and the method are capable of quickly, accurately, economically and effectively analyzing the deposition and drift characteristics of fog drops. The system comprises white photographic paper and a scanner, wherein the white photographic paper is used for receiving the fog drops; the output of the scanner is connected with a computer. The method comprises the following steps: spraying a pigmented medium from a spraying nozzle; receiving the fog drops, which are sprayed from the spraying nozzle, through the white photographic paper, and depositing the fog drops (i) on the photographic paper to form color spots; scanning the photographic paper through the scanner to obtain a scanning image, and calculating to obtain the actual area (Ti) of each color spot in a scanning region, wherein i is equal to 1,..., N; calculating the actual diameter of each fog drop according to a formula that di is equal to 1.06Ti<0.455>, and calculating the volume (Vi) of each fog drop; reflecting the size of the fog drops which are deposited on the photographic paper according to the corresponding diameter (Dv50) of each fog drop when a cumulative distribution function of the volume of the fog drops is 50 percent; and reflecting the coverage rate of the medium on the photographic paper according to the area of each color spot in the scanning region and/or the area of the scanning region.

High-gloss and waterproof photographic paper and preparation method thereof

The invention discloses high-gloss and waterproof photographic paper. The high-gloss and waterproof photographic paper comprises an ink-absorbing layer, a lustering layer, raw paper and a back coating. A preparation method of the high-gloss and waterproof photographic paper comprises a preparation method of ink-absorbing coating liquid, a preparation process of lustering coating liquid, a preparation process of back-coating coating liquid and a preparation process of the high-gloss and waterproof photographic paper. According to the high-gloss photographic paper produced by the method, the glossiness can reach above 80 percent and is far more than that of photographic paper with the glossiness being 40 to 60 percent in the market; meanwhile, the high-gloss photographic paper has scratch resistance and the surface hardness of the photographic paper reaches level 7; the back side is coated with polymer emulsion, so the isolating effect and the anti-curl effect are achieved; and the surface tension of the back side is less than 25 dynes, so water cannot be spread on the surface. The flatness reaches the level of coated paper. The ink-absorbing drying rate is high, the effect that the paper is dry once being discharged out of a machine is achieved, and the drying rate is greatly increased compared with the drying rate, that the coated photographic paper is dry 2 minutes later when being discharged out of the machine, of the coated photographic paper.
