The invention provides a phenol water self treatment cold coal gas production process, wherein the exhausted coal gas from a coal gas generating furnace is subjected to dust removal through a cyclone separator, cooled down by an air cooler, enters an indirect cooler for heat exchange and cooling, enters an electric light-drip catcher and is outputted. The production process is characterized in that a phenol water evaporator is additionally arranged between the cyclone separator and the air cooler, and the sewage containing phenol and oil, which is generated in the condensate in the indirect cooler and the electric light-drip catcher by the coal gas, is subjected to oil-water separation, the separated phenol water enters the phenol water evaporator, the exhausted coal gas enters the cyclone separator and then enters the indirect cooler through the phenol water evaporator, the phenol water is evaporated in the phenol water evaporator by utilizing the waste heat of the coal gas to generate the phenol steam, and the phenol steam is used as a gasifying agent for a gas furnace. In the invention, while the sewage containing phenol is treated, the waste heat of the coal gas is further utilized, thereby avoiding pollution and saving energy.
