An implant is generated which is functionally and aesthetically adapted to the patient with a greater degree of precision, irrespective of the size, form and complexity of the defect, whereby the implant can be produced and operatively inserted into the patient over a short time period and in a simple manner. A virtual three-dimensional model of the patient which is formed from existing recorded (two-dimensional) image data of the patient is compared with real medical reference data. The comparison which is, for example, carried out using a data bank with test person data enables a reference model object which is most suited to the patient or closest to the patient model to be selected or formed and a virtual implant model is generated accordingly. Computer numeric control data is directly generated from the implant model which is generated virtually in the computer for program-assisted production of the implant.

The imaging probe acquires image data with movement through the imaged subject. The system also includes an ablation catheter including a marker having a unique identifier to be detected in the acquired image data, and a tracking system having one of a plurality of tracking elements located at the imaging probe and at least another tracking element located at the ablation catheter. A display illustrates the image data acquired with the imaging probe in combination with a graphic representation of an imaging plane vector representative of a general direction of a field of view (FOV) of image acquisition of the imaging probe in spatial relation to a graphic representation of the identifier and the location of the ablation catheter.

An apparatus and method for treating and reusing the wastewater discharged from agricultural animal farms. The apparatus and method of the present invention is designed to be a zero discharge system in which no wastewater will be discharged or spray irrigated. The wastewater effluent is first passed through a mechanical screen were bulk solids are separated and partially de-watered. The screened effluent is then directed to a primary plastic-lined earthen lagoon where it undergoes aerobic digestion utilizing specially selected bacteria. After treatment in the primary lagoon, the wastewater effluent is used to wash the floors of the hog houses or undergoes a purification phase including solids separation / denitrification, filtration and sterilization. The solids separation / denitrification phase (clarification) preferably takes place in an anoxic environment in preferably above-ground tanks where suspended solids removal will occur as well as denitrification for nitrate reduction. The clarification process may be facilitated through use of polymer addition. The majority of solids will be sent to a plurality of drying beds for de-watering and subsequent removal.
