The invention relates to hyperbranched polyester modified acrylic resin and a preparation method thereof. Firstly, a By-type polyhydroxylated compound is taken as nuclear molecules (wherein B represents hydroxyl, and the degree of functionality y of B is larger than of equal to 2), ABx-type polyhydroxy acid is taken as divergence molecules (wherein A represents carboxyl, B represents hydroxyl and x represents the degree of functionality of hydroxyl and is larger than or equal to 2), a polyester-type hyperbranched polymer with hydroxyl at the terminal is obtained through a vacuum fusion polycondensation method, and esterification reaction is performed on prepared hyperbranched polyester and acrylic resin with carboxyl in the presence of a water-carrying agent to obtain hyperbranched polyester modified acrylic resin. Acrylate with hyperbranched polyester introduced enriches a great amount of hydroxyl, and is taken as a cross-linking group to greatly reduce the curing time of a coating film; and at the same time, hyperbranched polyester has excellent performance of dendritic polymer, molecular chains are not easily twisted, and hyperbranched polyester modified acrylic resin with high solidity and low viscosity can be obtained. According to the invention, the source of raw materials is wide, the price of the raw materials is low, the synthetic method is simple, the controllability is good, and the production cost is low.

The invention provides a preparation method of a hyperbranched polyurethane acrylate interpenetrating polymer network waterproof agent. The method comprises the following steps: (1), synthetizing a waterborne polyurethane prepolymer with ends partially capped; (2), introducing hydroxyl-terminated hyperbranched polyester, and grafting by virtue of reaction between isocyanate in the waterborne polyurethane prepolymer and the hydroxyl of the hyperbranched polyester, thereby obtaining a hyperbranched waterborne polyurethane prepolymer; (3), adding part of ethenyl monomers and a neutralizing agent, salifying, and adding deionized water while stirring at a high speed so as to realize dispersion, thereby obtaining a hyperbranched waterborne polyurethane emulsion; and (4), dropwise adding residual ethenyl monomers and an initiator into the hyperbranched waterborne polyurethane emulsion, thereby obtaining a hyperbranched waterborne polyurethane / acrylate interpenetrating network structure emulsion. The emulsion has excellent waterproof performance, good washable and abrasion-resistant performances and does not contain PFOA and PFOS. The hyperbranched structure has a self-recovery function, is capable of realizing self repairing of damaged regions and is long in waterproof performance duration time.

The preparation method includes mixing polyatomic alcohol with dihydroxytoluene alkyl carboxylic acid by mole part, adding acid catalysts and reflux solvents to react under N2 protection at 140-230 DEG C so as to obtain hyperbranched polyester; adding fatty acid into the hyperbranched polyester serving as the substrate, adding the acid catalysts and the reflux solvents to carry out reflux reaction under N2 protection at 140-240 DEG C until the acid value is lower than 15mgKOH / g so as to obtain the fatty acid modified hyperbranched polyester; and finally adding caprolactone and organic tin catalysts into the fatty acid modified hyperbranched polyester to react under N2 protection at 130-230 DEG C, and removing the organic solvents to obtain the caprolactone modified hyperbranched polyester. The caprolactone modified hyperbranched polyester has no defect of overhigh viscosity as the conventional hyperbranched resin, and good-performance coating films can be obtained after the caprolactone modified hyperbranched polyester is in crosslinking with the polyurethane curing agents. The preparation method can be used for preparing high-solid-content and solvent-free coatings.

The hyper-branched polyester resin pigment dispersant is a dendritic and hyper-branched polyester having hydroxyl functional groups and a 3D structure, the number-average molecular weight of the dispersant is 1500 to 20000, and the solid content of the dispersant is from 20% to 90%. The dispersant is prepared by the following steps: subjecting anhydride to carry out reactions with hyper-branched polyester, and then subjecting the reaction products to carry out reactions with a compound, whose one end is a mono-epoxy functional group and the other end is a hydrophobic long carbon chain, so as to obtain the dispersant. The introduced long chain alkyl/aryl in the dispersant has a structure like the anchor hook, thus the dispersant has a very good compatibility with the main resin molecular of paint, and can reduce the possibility of secondary flocculation or aggregation of the disperse system. The invention relates to a method for preparing an ultraviolet(UV)-curable polyisocyanate modified superbranched epoxy acrylate, which comprises the following steps of: heating maleopimaric acid tri glycidyl ester, maleopimaric acid and a catalyst for esterification reaction to obtain rosin-based superbranched resin; cooling, and adding epoxy chloropropane, water and a catalyst for reaction to obtain superbranched epoxy resin; adding crylic acid, a catalyst and a polymerization inhibitor for reaction to obtain superbranched epoxy acrylic resin; and reacting the superbranched epoxy acrylic resin with ethylene glycol methacrylate terminated para toluene diisocyanate, a catalyst and a polymerization inhibitor to obtain the final product. Compared with the prior art, the method has the advantages that: rosinyl is introduced into superbranched polyester, and the hardness, strength and other special properties of the resin are improved and the curing speed is improved by utilizing the special rigid condensed ring structure of the rosin. The cured product has higher ultraviolet resistance; and by adjusting the using amount of raw materials, superbranched polyester for ultraviolet-curable coatings meeting different coating requirements can be prepared.
