An optical coherence tomography probe and laser combination device configured for real-time z-directional guidance of the incisional depth of a surgical procedure. It can be used alone or placed within the working channel of an endoscope. The device includes an OCT single mode fiber, and a laser fiber or laser hollow waveguide or electrical surgical wire positioned adjacent to the OCT single mode fiber. The single mode fiber is configured to move laterally when activated by an actuator to scan light data reflected from a sample that is positioned in front of a distal end of the device. The light data can be processed to generate a B-scan image. The device can collect data in real-time during lasing, or immediately prior to and following the cutting. The surgical tool, when coupled to a processor, can deactivate when the B-scan image identifies that the incision is within a predefined tolerance.

The invention relates to the field of medical apparatus and instruments, and discloses a special surgical wire retractor for orthopedic surgery. The special surgical wire retractor for orthopedic surgery comprises a grab handle, wherein the front surface and side surfaces of one end of the grab handle are fixedly connected with fixing plates separately; each fixing plate is movably connected witha vertical rod in a sleeving manner; the bottom end of each vertical rod is fixedly connected with a fixing baffle; the bottom end of a side surface of each vertical rod is fixedly connected with a clamping device positioned above the corresponding fixing plate; the middle of the top end of the grab handle is fixedly connected with a supporting plate; and the supporting plate is fixedly connectedwith a fixing shaft. According to the special surgical wire retractor for orthopedic surgery, by movement of the vertical rods in the chutes and slide ways of the fixing plates, retractable rods on two sides rotate to suitable angles, a wire retractor body connected with a middle retractable rod hooks the middle of an opening of a patient, the other two sides hook skin and flesh of two sides, thus, surgical field is open, and meanwhile, by cooperation of wire retractor bodies on the two sides, the circumstance that the skin and flesh of the patient are torn off is avoided when the skin and flesh of the patient are hooked by the middle wire retractor body.
