According to the method, the high-yield efficient protein based surfactant prepared from chromium-containing leather waste, which serves as a main raw material, can be applied to a leather making process again as a degreasing agent, so that not only is the resource utilization of the waste realized, but also the total cost of chemical raw materials for leather making enterprises is reduced.
