Probe cover for ear thermometer and manufacturing method thereof

The present invention provides a probe cover for an ear thermometer and a manufacturing method thereof. The probe cover is for sheathing a measuring probe of the ear thermometer, and an engaging means is provided at a bottom of the measuring probe. The probe cover comprises a main body of a hollow structure, an abutting segment and a base. Therein, the main body has an open end and a closed end opposite to the open end. An assembling direction extending from the open end toward the closed end is where the measuring probe is assembled along. Further, the main body has a diameter gradually reducing along the assembling direction. The closed end allows infrared rays to be received by the measuring probe to pass therethrough. Therein, the abutting segment is provided at the open end of the main body, and the base is annularly provided around a periphery of the abutting segment. The probe cover is characterized in being integrally formed, and having an annular shoulder provided at the abutting segment for accommodating the engaging means of the ear thermometer, as well as a plurality of separated protuberances, which are formed inwardly at a combining portion between the abutting segment and the base, for being engaged with the engaging means of the ear thermometer so that the probe cover can be firmly engaged with the measuring probe.

Ear thermometer capable of fast measuring and measuring method thereof

The invention relates to an ear thermometer capable of fast measuring and a measuring method thereof. The ear thermometer comprises an infrared ear temperature detection unit, a control unit, a display unit and a signal conversion unit, wherein the control unit and the display unit are respectively connected with a microprocessor; the infrared ear temperature detection unit is connected with the microprocessor by the signal conversion unit; the microprocessor is also in connection with an ambient temperature detection unit; the ambient temperature detection unit periodically detects the temperature of the external environment and stores the temperature information of external environment in order to compensate for the influence of the temperature of the external environment on the ear temperature detected by the infrared ear temperature detection unit through the processing of the microprocessor. When in measurement, the ear thermometer does not need to separately measure the temperature of external environment again before measuring the ear temperature every time, thereby being capable of measuring the ear directly and continuously, greatly reducing the waiting time for each measurement clearance, effectively improving the efficiency of ear temperature measurement and being more beneficial to use.

Shrinkable dispensing container for probe covers

This invention relates to a shrinkable dispensing container for probe covers of an ear thermometer. Therein, the ear thermometer probe cover refers to a product having a hollow body and a flange. The dispensing container for probe covers of an ear thermometer comprises a main body for accommodating a plurality of stacked probe covers and an access opening formed at one end of the main body for allowing an ear thermometer probe to insert into the probe cover in the main body. The present invention is characterized by a bottom portion formed at another end of the main body opposite to the access opening for supporting all the probe covers stacked within the main body. The main body is primarily composed of a plurality of member portions wherein each of the member portions comprises at last a bending portion so that when the member portion receives a compressing force acting along a lengthwise direction thereof, the bending portion is bent and contracted accordingly, and thereby causes the main body to be shrunk along a lengthwise direction thereof. An abutting component is disposed in the main body adjacent to the access opening to abut against the annular flange of the probe cover for preventing the probe cover from falling when there is no force acting on the probe covers of an ear thermometer.

Infrared temperature measurement device with communication function

The invention provides an infrared temperature measurement device with a communication function, which is characterized in that a control module is arranged in a shell and the control module is electrically connected with an infrared temperature sensing unit, a communication interface, a measurement key, a transmission key and a power supply starting key, so that when a medical care personnel measures the temperature of a patient, the power supply starting key is pressed and the control module is used for supplying power to start the infrared temperature measurement device; the control module receives actuating signals of the measurement key and the temperature of the patient is captured through the infrared temperature sensing unit; the medical care personnel connects the communication interface of the infrared temperature measurement device with a host computer through a pluggable type communication connection wire; and then the transmission key or a common key is pressed and a result is transmitted to the host computer by the control module. According to the infrared temperature measurement device provided by the invention, an ear thermometer or a forehead thermometer is selectively connected with the host computer in a detachable way, so that the infrared temperature measurement device can be adaptive to operation states of measuring or transmitting data and is convenient for the medical care personnel to use.
