Extrusion devices for mounting wall panels

An extrusion device for mounting a wall panel has an outer cap extending to an edge on at least one side which is positioned against an outer surface of a wall panel, having a pair of spaced-apart insertion fingers, and a receiver base having a planar mounting portion and a pair of angled receiver flanges projecting upwardly to receive the insertion fingers therein. The two-piece extrusion permits wall panels to be mounted or removed from the underlying wall structure in on-sequential order. The receiver base and cap can be provided on both sides to form an "H" type extrusion, or on only one side in a "J" type extrusion. Preferably, the outer cap is made of metal, and the tips of the insertion fingers are beveled at a slight angle of about 7° to 14° to allow easy insertion into the receiver flanges. The cap has compound water-shedding edges formed with a rounded rain-drip edge spaced in close proximity to a sharply inclined knife edge. In another variation, a one-piece extrusion device has a rear base portion and a front cover portion forming a pocket therewith, and a ramp formed on the base portion within the width of the front cover portion for gradually forcing the edge of a wall panel inserted in the pocket toward the front cover portion clear of the heads of screws used to mount the base portion to the underlying wall structure. The base portion is formed with a hook indentation on a back side of the ramp on a rear surface of the base portion, and interconnects with a "Z" type extrusion having a hook end to form a right angle connection. The one-piece extrusion may be formed as a "J" (one-sided), "H" (two sided), "C" (corner), or other suitable types.

Sheet material having weakness zones and a system for dispensing the material

Dispensable sheet material includes opposite side edges spaced apart from one another to define the overall width of the sheet material. Zones of weakness are spaced along the sheet material. Adjacent zones of weakness are spaced apart by a distance of from about 50% to about 200% of the overall width of the sheet material to divide the sheet material into a plurality of sheet material segments. Each of the zones of weakness comprises a plurality of perforations and frangible sheet material portions. Each of the frangible sheet material portions has a width of from about 0.3 mm to about 1.8 mm. The total width of the frangible sheet portions in each zone of weakness is from about 10% to about 30% of the overall width of the sheet material. The sheet material has an elasticity in the dispensing direction of from about 4% to about 20%. The sheet material has a dry tensile strength in the dispensing direction of from about 4,000 grams per 3 inches of width to about 12,000 grams per 3 inches of width. The sheet material has a wet tensile strength in the weakest direction, typically, a direction orthogonal to the dispensing direction, of at least about 900 grams per 3 inches of width. In addition, the sheet material has a tensile ratio of less than about 2.0. A dispensing system includes a dispenser defining an interior for containing the sheet material and an outlet for allowing sheet material to be dispensed from the interior of the housing.

An absorbent article includes a chassis including a topsheet and a backsheet joined to the topsheet and an absorbent core located between the topsheet and the backsheet. The chassis has a front waist region, a back waist region, a crotch region located between the front waist region and the back waist region, a longitudinal axis extending through the front and back waist regions and a lateral axis substantially perpendicular to the longitudinal axis. A barrier cuff strip extends in a longitudinal direction from the front waist region to the back waist region along the topsheet. The barrier cuff strip includes a front end at the front waist region, a back end at the back waist region and proximal and distal edges connecting the front end and the back end. The barrier cuff strip distal edge is attached to the topsheet at a cuff end bond region having an outer bond edge at one of the front and back ends of the barrier cuff strip and an inner bond edge spaced longitudinally from the outer bond edge. A side panel extends laterally beyond a side of the chassis and is joined to the chassis at one of the front and back waist regions at a panel joint region extending between an outer panel joint edge and an inner panel joint edge. The side panel includes an elastically stretchable material. A longitudinal distance from the lateral axis to the inner panel joint edge is at least about ¼ of a longitudinal distance from the lateral axis to the inner bond edge of the cuff end bond region.

Image-based method for identifying shape of parasite egg

The invention discloses an image-based method for identifying the shape of a parasite egg. The method comprises the following steps of: establishing shape normalizing edge space distribution histograms and an edge profile region template of the parasite egg to be identified; carrying out normalization processing on the gray scale of an image; extracting edge information; merging edges; carrying out secondary filter on edge regions; and judging the shape on the basis of the edge space histograms, i.e. carrying out similarity judgment of the edge space distribution histograms on each candidate edge region according to the established shape edge space distribution histograms and the edge region information of the parasite egg to be identified and if the similarity of the edge space distribution histograms is less than Th, judging that the parasite egg is a human parasite egg to be identified. In the image-based method for identifying the shape of the parasite egg, a secondary edge region filter mechanism is introduced in, so that the computing speed and the real-time performance of an identification algorithm are improved; and a method of the edge space distribution histograms is introduced for carrying out judgment of the edge shape, so that the influence of various interference factors can be well overcome, the accuracy and the reliability of identification are improved and the image-based method for identifying the shape of the parasite egg can be more suitable for actual detection places with more interference factors.
