3 results about "SORBITAN TRIOLEATE" patented technology

Sorbitan Trioleate is a triester of oleic acid and hexitol anhydrides derived from sorbitol. It functions as a surfactant and emulsifying agent.

Albuterol aerosol suspension formulation for oral inhalation with high amount of green propellant hydrofluoroolefin (HFO) and free of co-solvent

Pharmaceutical aerosol formulations containing pre-micronized albuterol sulfate, high amount of green propellant trans-1,3,3,3-tetrafluoropropene (HFO-1234ze (E)), and a surfactant (polysorbate 80 (polyoxyethylene (20) sorbitan monooleate), polysorbate 20 (polyoxyethylene (20) sorbitan monolaurate), polyethylene glycol 1000, span 85 (sorbitan trioleate), polyvinylpyrrolidone K25, or their combination) in a pressurized metered dose inhaler are described. The formulations do not use any co-solvent, i.e., they are co-solvent-free (e.g., free of ethanol, glycerol, propylene glycol, and a combination thereof). The formulations provide highly efficient delivery, through metered dose inhaler (MDI), of pre-micronized albuterol particles into the patients' respiratory tracts and have the advantages of high efficacy, improved safety, and a low global warming potential (GWP) for environmental impact.

A novel adjuvant and its use in the preparation of an inactivated vaccine against bovine tuberous skin disease and positive sera therefrom

PendingCN122097563ASerum immunoglobulinsAntiviralsDiseaseActive agent
The application discloses a squalene-based water-in-oil-in-water vaccine adjuvant and a vaccine composition and application thereof. The adjuvant comprises squalene, tocopherol, lipophilic surfactant and a hydrophilic surfactant combination composed of polyglyceryl dioleate, decaglyceryl monolaurate and polyoxyethylene sorbitan trioleate in a specific mass ratio. The specific combination is the key to forming a stable and uniform squalene multiple emulsion. The vaccine composition prepared by mixing and emulsifying the adjuvant with an antigen shows excellent physical stability, enhanced immune response and good safety in animal experiments, and is especially suitable for preventing bovine nodular dermatosis and preparation of positive serum thereof. The application solves the technical problem that squalene is difficult to stabilize in a complex emulsion system, and provides a replacement scheme superior to a traditional mineral oil adjuvant.

Squalene-containing oil-in-water adjuvant, and methods of making and using same

ActiveCN121944103BAdjuvantImmunocompetence
The application relates to the technical field of vaccine preparation, and discloses an oil-in-water squalene-containing adjuvant as well as a preparation method and application thereof. The adjuvant comprises the following components: squalene, polysorbate 80, sorbitan trioleate, a temperature-sensitive nonionic block copolymer, an amino acid CMT regulator, a polyhydric alcohol CMT regulator, citric acid, sodium citrate, and the rest is injection water. The preparation method comprises the following steps: preparing an oil phase; dissolving the temperature-sensitive nonionic block copolymer, the CMT regulator, the citric acid and the sodium citrate in low-temperature injection water, then pre-treating by temperature rising to obtain an aqueous phase; shearing and emulsifying the aqueous phase and the oil phase at a specific temperature; and finally, controlling the cooling speed of the hot emulsion and filtering. Through the composite formula and the specific process, the long-term storage stability of the adjuvant is remarkably improved, the immunocompetence of the vaccine is guaranteed, the process reproducibility is good, and the production cost is reduced.
