This invention discloses a method and apparatus for planting elephant grass in the remediation of
slag heaps in high-altitude and cold regions, belonging to the field of
slag heap remediation technology. The elephant grass planting apparatus for
slag heap remediation in high-altitude and cold regions includes an L-shaped support frame with a material box fixedly installed on it. The material box contains elephant grass stems (2-3 sections). A
vertical cylinder is fixedly installed on the outside of the L-shaped support frame via a moving mechanism. A
discharge rod is fixedly installed on one side of the
vertical cylinder, with one end of the
discharge rod connected to the inside of the
vertical cylinder and the other end of the
discharge rod fixedly connected to the material box via a feeding
pipe. The apparatus also includes a planting component, which is installed inside the vertical cylinder. A striking plate inside the planting component reciprocates to strike a force-bearing plate, generating an
electric current on the surface of the force-bearing plate, which is transmitted to a conductive plate via a wire. The slag heap, after being subjected to strong
electric shock, generates corresponding high temperatures, causing harmful organisms to die and causing chemical substances in the soil to undergo oxidation, reduction, and
decomposition reactions, thus achieving good ecological restoration of the slag heap.
