The invention relates to a novel
fish tank which comprises a tank body, a heat insulating layer, a
solar energy absorbing board, a temperature controller, a heater and a storage battery. The
solar energy absorbing board is installed on the lateral face of the tank body, the heater is arranged inside the tank body, the heater is connected with the temperature controller and the storage battery, and the storage battery is connected with the
solar energy absorbing board. The novel
fish tank has the advantages that when
sunlight is sufficient in the day, the solar
energy absorbing board can absorb solar energy to convert the solar energy into
chemical energy to store the
chemical energy in the storage battery, when the temperature in the
fish tank is as low as the set temperature, the temperature controller is triggered to be connected with a heating circuit, and
electric energy in the storage battery enables the heater to start to work; when the temperature is high enough to achieve the set highest temperature, the heating circuit can be disconnected by the temperature controller to enable the temperature in the fish tank to be kept constant. In order to prevent fishes to be exposed under
sunlight irradiation, the solar
energy absorbing board is arranged on one side of the fish tank, and the heat insulating layer is arranged between the solar
energy absorbing board and the fish tank, so that the fishes cannot be directly irradiated by the
sunlight. The novel fish tank is low in
energy consumption,
environmentally friendly and easy to produce.
