Systems and methods for privacy protection in video communication systems

An image transmission system with privacy protection includes a privacy request processor which receives a request to secure at least one object type in an image prior to transmission of the image to a receiving system. An object detector receives the image data from a camera and processes the image data to identify at least one predetermined object type in the image data. An object scrambler receives a set of protected objects from the privacy request processor and receives the image data with identified objects of the predetermined object type and operates to obscure the image data for any identified objects identified as protected objects prior to encoding and transmission to a remote receiver site.

Real-time video QoE prediction method and system based on wireless network parameters

The invention discloses a real-time video QoE prediction method and system based on wireless network parameters, and the method comprises the steps: connecting an OAI signal through terminal equipment, collecting a QoE parameter index in a video playing process from a video from WebRTC, and obtaining a corresponding wireless network state parameter index as original data; a training set is generated through preprocessing, and the training set is used for training a constructed two-stage QoE perception and prediction model based on a Transform model after data enhancement processing; and in the online stage, inputting real-time data into the pre-trained two-stage QoE perception and prediction model based on the Transform model to carry out QoE perception prediction. The adaptive capacity of the model to different network conditions and video content changes is effectively improved through a robust data enhancement technology, and the generalization and robustness of the model are enhanced. Real-time QoE prediction is completed in a short time interval through two-stage QoE perception and prediction based on a Transform model, and the requirements of a real-time XR video communication system are met.

Mounting device for a display

Systems and devices are disclosed for improving image quality in a video communication system. Improvements can be realized through the use of a display mount that provides for repeatable positioning and loading. Cameras can be mounted around a perimeter of the display, so that the principles described apply to a camera array structure as well as the display itself. The display mount can include an upper fixed mount that restricts translational motion and a lower flexible mount that permits rotation about a vertical axis to compensate for variations in loading. Various implementations of the upper mount are described. The upper mount can be equipped with a roll adjustment mechanism.
