electric energy meter and a circuit controlling method, wherein, the
electric energy meter comprises a metering unit, a recording unit, a
communication unit, a monitoring unit, a self-checking unit, a displaying unit and a
time sharing unit. The metering unit adopts single-phase three-wire, meters maximum demand, and has
high current and a wide metering range; the recording unit is used for recording
electric energy, the maximum demand, demand
generation time, recording a load curve, and recording events such as
programming, timing, demand clearing and
time zone switching; the
communication unit is used for carrier communication on an automatic networking power line, and provides the optical port communication conforming to ANSI specification; the monitoring unit is used for detecting the
voltage, the current, the active power, the apparent power and the frequency of an
electric network and detecting undervoltage, excess
voltage, current loss and over-current; the self-checking unit is used for checking
time sharing setting errors, and metering the errors, etc.; the displaying unit is used for normally performing
liquid crystal display at the low temperature of subzero 40 DEG C; and the
time sharing unit is used for meeting the multiple rate time share of the ANSI standard. The invention provides the single-phase static electric energy meter which is provided with more complete functions and more suitable for the use requirements of multiple levels of users.
